American Family Dental Care is Hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Near Cynwyd, PA

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic dental team.

Schedule: Part-time, Fridays and Saturdays

As an EFDA, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dentist in various clinical procedures. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist in a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery treatments.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
  • Perform preliminary patient assessments, including taking and recording vitals, dental histories, and X-rays.
  • Update and maintain patient records and treatment charts accurately and efficiently.
  • Take accurate impressions of patients' teeth for study models, crowns, bridges, and other dental prosthetics.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in PA

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
